Dear Amy, My husband's gr grandmother was married to an Alfred, but his spelling was as I havebeen able to find Eytchison. Her maiden name was Sarah Good. All I know is she had a sister, Amanda, whom she named one of her daughters after, my husband's grandmother. Sarah died in 1911 in Rochester, In. Her father's name was Jacob Good. She and Alfred Children are Thomas, Ida, Amanda, George, Rosa, and they always talked about a Harry, but I believe he was a half brother. Judging from the dates of birth, the connection would have to be that perhaps your Tryphosa and my Sarah are sisters. The only info I have is from Sarah's death certificate and it is not a formal one. Seems to have been copied from a ledger. Can you get Tryphosa's birth certificat, or was she born at home as most. Or Possibily, Your Amanda was the sister to Sarah's father! Don't have anythin g else. Patricia Madison co and Fulton Co. are not very far apart.
