This is the sixth installment (and sixth generation) of the family tree given in brief in my original message (7/23/00).
John Dean Esty Sr. was born July 1772 in Stoughton, MA. He was the second of 8 children of Solomon and Tabitha (Williams) Esty.
John was married twice, first to Jerusha Bond (date and place of wedding is unknown) and then to Asenath Bull (date and place of wedding is unknown). John died on 26 Oct. 1846 (site unknown). Dates and places of death Jerusha and Asenath are unknown.
John and Jerusha (Bond) Esty had 6 children. They are as follows:
John Dean Esty Jr., born 11 June 1800 in Kingston, Vt(?). Married twice, first to Charlotte Lawrence in 1821 (site of wedding unknown) and then to Charlotte Lovelace (date and place of wedding unknown). No information on children. John Jr. died on 21 Sep 1872 in Delmar, Iowa. It is unknown where and when his wives died.
Elijah B. Esty was born in 1801 in Kingston, Vt(?). Married Mary Ripley (date and place of wedding unknown). Elijah and Mary had nine children (Curtis B., Margaret Mary, Ruhama J., Franklin, Hiram Spaulding, Sarah, Dinah Emily, Horace, and Asenath).
When and where Elijah and Mary died is unknown.
Orrin Esty. No further information available
Hiram Spaulding Esty was born in 1810 (site unknown). He married Sarah McKillup (date and place of wedding unknown). Hiram died on 29 July 1878 (site unknown). No information on children or when and where Sarah died.
Emily Esty (date and place of birth and death unknown). Married to Jonas Martin (date and place of wedding unknown) No information on children or when and where Jonas died.
Milo Bennett Esty (date and place of birth and death unknown). Married twice, first to Lydia Davis and then to Martha Blackman. No information on children or when and where Lydia and Martha died.
John and Asenath (Bull) Esty had one son, listed below:
Samuel Murdock Esty was born in 1822. No further information available.
Information above obtained by a relative of mine from the state of Washington from Topsfield and Stoughton records. As I indicated previously, if anyone can fill in the blanks in my information, please let me know.
