Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

The president of my genealogy society is descended from Samuel Wardell; my ancestor was Mary (Towne) Esty of Topsfield...they probably knew each other. I am exploring with her the motivations of these trials... my friend says her family were Quakers. Did this play into the trials? Were the Estys in MA Quakers?
