Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

I know we genealogists are supposed to be non-judgemental but what do you make of the witch trials; before I found out that I am descended from Mary (Town) Estey I thought the people in Salem were motivated by greed. Since then I have begun to read about the trial and would like to hear all arguments about just what went on. Thanks, Joan- and anyone who'd like to weigh in.
