I am descended from Jeffrey and Margaret

Jeffrey Easty 1587-1657
Isaac Easty 1627-1711
Joshua Easty 1678-1744
Eleanore Easty married Samuel Griffith 1700-1748
Ephraim Griffith 1733-1823
John Griffith 1763-1842
Hezekiah Griffith 1792-1872
Rufus Newman Griffith 1822-1882
Albert Griffith 1856-1938
Rufus DeShon Griffith 1891-1976
Claude Griffith 1916-1973
John Griffith 1950-

I am listing Griffith dates from memory - would have to go to my records to be certain. John Griffith married Mary Boyden. Their son, Hezekiah, was born in Vermont as were several of their children. However, John moved his family to Livermore, Maine in the mid 1790's. His wife, Mary, petitioned the Federal Government for a Revolutionary War widow's pension after his death which I believe was granted. We've always assumed that John was given land in Livermore as payment for serving in the Revolution.
