Years have gone by and I hope you get to read this. The Estilette family took on this name as the government gave it to them. They are not related to your family. This branch is Native American and the tree begins with George Estilette. From him backward I had to delete the ancestors. I've done the research and I've taken the DNA testing which I am waiting for the results. Father Hebert has them listed as Native American and there are people in Louisiana who knew them that called them Native Americans. Vital Estilette is listed in the Native Americans in Louisiana website. I thank you for all the information you gave me on the Estilette name.
