I have located the following Estes information starting from the location of Waco, McLennan County, Texas.
Ruth Estes b. 7 July 1904 McLennan Co.,TX (from family data) married James Eddie Peters in McLennan Co., TX., they had four children and later divorced, she then married Steven Smith, next married Jack Winterhalter, was widowed in 1970 in Edmonds, Snohomish County, Washington, She died on 1 May 1972 in Seattle, King County, Washington. Ruth was the daughter of Lyddal Bacon Estes, b. 6 Aug 1855 in Mississippi. He moved to McLennan Co., TX and married Mattie Brandon b. 21 July 1861 in Texas, d.1 Nov 1917. They were listed on the 1900 McLennan County, TX Federal Census living in Justice Precinct # 1, Residence (All West of Brazos River and East of Waco/Golinda Rd., Waco, TX. On that 1900 Census Their Family Listing:
Lydall B. Estes May 1856 in Mississippi
Mattie Estes July 1864 in TX
Lola J. Estes Sept 1886 in TX
Edward B. Estes Sept 1888 in TX
Lillie Estes April 1891 in TX
Chas H. Estes April 1893 in TX
Annie Estes Oct 1895 in TX

Edward Brandon Estes was registered on the June 1917 WW I Draft Registration in McLennan Co., TX. He was listed as being a Private in the Infantry, a period of 5 years.

Chas H. Estes was registered on the June 1917 WW I Draft Registration He was married, had a wife and child. He claimed an exemption from Draft, having a Dependent Family.

On the 1900 Census, Lyddal B. Estes parents birthplaces were given as Virginia, both his father and mother.

Somehow it indicates that this Lyddal Bacon Estes traces back to the Benjamin Estes who married Frances Bacon b. 24 April 1739, died in Maury Co., Tennessee 19 Mar 1821.

Any help given to prove this connection will be deeply appreciated. Thank you,
Viola
