Looking for Jim (Powell) Estep b. abt. 1905
Posted by: Shepherd Samantha (ID *****5098) Date: June 08, 2012 at 06:26:18
  of 1830

He is my great-grandfather and our family tree currently comes to an end with him. My grandfather, his son, was Charles Edward "Ed" Estep. He was born in October 1932 to Nancy Shepherd at Leatherwood, KY.

Later in his life, mt grandfather discovered he had a half-brother who also lived in Perry Co. Upon visiting, he discovered that his father may have actually been a Powell who had been adopted by the Estep family.

After searching census records, birth and death records, I can find no definitive trace of him. Can anyone help me out?
