Yes, I'm saying that there is no Indian link to this particular line. I vaguely recall seeing some postings to an Estep line to a Annie Terry who is supposedly of Indian descent. But since it wasn't involved with my particular line, I have not followed it. But, for sure none of the Esteps from your Matilda (my Samuel) to Pleasant to Joel to? are not Indian descent. It would be cool though.
I'm going back to resurrect my extra family members files that I have run across over the years and will get back to you regarding all the info that I've stumbled across on Pleasant's Matilda and her various marriages. I have some census records, but no death records as yet. I'll give you what I have if you don't already have it. Linda Reed
