It must be Pleasant's dau Matilda who did all the marrying, most certainly not Matilda dau of Joel. I also have an statement somewhere in my archives of a Matilda and sometimes Malinda Estep who married Isom. I also have a document for Lucinda applying for Isom's pension in which Enoch Estep and Ruth (Baldwin) Estep in which they state "he was never married". So that adds confusion to mess of Matildas. I'm fairly sure the daughter of Pleasant was born about 1843 and would have been easily 19 years older than Andrew Jackson baldwin. I guess I better dig out my old files and piece this family back together in my mind.

I find it interesting that Lucinda states on the 1900 census that her father was from Ireland. Very interesting.
