There are 2 different Estabrooks families in New Brunswick, one settling initially in Maugerville on the Saint John river and another settling in Sackville,Westmorland county in the southeast part of New Brunswick. I have researched the Estabrooks family from Sackville(as that is they family I descend from) but have several older books on the 'other' family from Maugerville.
For your answer, I consulted the indices of all these books with no Willard found in any of them.
However in my research for my 1140 page book on the Estabrooks' from Sackville, I used research from a manuscript compiled by Ernest Estabrooks from the 1940's and found that he lists a Willard Estabrooks who married Clara Main (daughter of Robert Main) on Nov 11,1880. In his research, which I copied, it states Willard went to the US and was lost track of.I suspect that this Willard is indeed 'your' Willard. Ernest's research also shows an unnamed daughter of Willard and Clara who died of diptheria as an infant. Willard was son of Miles (b circa 1821) and Elizabeth (Moore) Estabrooks. Willard was born circa 1855/1856. Many Estabrooks who left this area dropped the last "s" from the name. Many people from this area also went to Kansas around that time. I would be interested in knowing more about his descendants. If you want more info, please feel free to email me privately. Bruce Estabrooks, Moncton,NB Canada
