Karen

I have only recently started researching my family and am still looking through the family documents to gather as much info as I can. I do know that my great grandfather (Frank Essam) lived in Dagenham, Essex. He was married to Ada louise (don't know the maiden name). They had 6 children - Frank, Horace, May, Walter, Edward and George. Frank Essam (jnr) was my grandfather, he was born in Dagenham on 20th Oct 1908. He married Doris Collins and moved to Luton after WW2. Frank and Doris had 3 children - Brian Frank Essam, Patricia Doris Essam and Margaret Ann Essam (my mother).

Frank Essam (snr) died 1 Sept 1949, Ada Louise died 12 Sept 1949. They are buried in Chadwell Heath Cemetery. Frank was originally a glass blower but later became a hotel stoker.
