some of my Esparzas also came from Mesquital
when I first researched the Esparzas, I only looked for the surname ESPARZA and found about three of them.
I started to read some of the Esparza postings in the Mexico Forum
I was told that I should also look for RUIZ de ESPARZA
I found marriage and christening documents dating back to the 1600 for Ruiz de Esparza

Miguel Ruiz de Esparza ( also found as Miguel Esparza)
married a Gertrudis Landeros in 1733
The child Philipa Antonia Ruiz de Esparza , in her christening document the names of her godparents are listed as Geronimo Flores de Oleva (s) and Bernada Flores de Oleva (s)
Miguels parents are Joseph Ruiz de Esparza and Juana Flores
the Olivas are related to Juana .
Maybe you should also look for Flores de Olevas
Do you have more Esparzas ? please let me know.
E Baker
