My name is John Frank Lizarraga from Sacramento, California, USA. I saw an email in the Genforum, dated 7/25/02 you posted about Esparza family.
I see it made reference to the Esparza y Lizarraga family names. I would appreciate if you could provide me with a translation of the information and where I might find some links to the Lizarraga y Esparza families.
My father is Juan Francisco Lizarraga from Mazatlan, Sinaola, Mexico. His Grandfather was Dario Lizarraga Esparza and he was married to Maxaimina Moreno. I've been told he was of Basque ancestry, and came to Mexico from Spain in the 1800's. Any responses you may have would be appreciated.
