I had never heard about the Eiseberri angle as the Basque spelling is Espartza in Navarra. I had heard of the migration to Cadiz and Valencia during the Reconquista. That's why there are no Esparzas in Esparza. Still, the first named Esparza is written in the Annals of Padre Moret, Garcia de Esparza who made a donation to the Monasterio de Leyre in 1044, or around then.
