Your message perks up my ears! My Great X3 Grandmother was Catharine Eslick of Cornwall England and she married Joseph Pierce, also of Cornwall. The 1880 census, recently released by LDS shows them as living in Helena Montana and that her brother, Joseph Eslick, lived with them at the time the census was taken. Sadly, it did not mention Joseph Eslick's wifes name but it strikes me odd that you have this information. Butte and Helena are only a matter of perhaps 45 miles apart and it is entirely possible that we are "linked". Please check the LDS census at and I think you will find much of the information you are seeking.

If you feel there is a "link" with us, let me know. I have tons of family documents and can include photos of Catharine Eslick and Joseph Pierce which I would be more than happy to send you.

I am eager to hear from you!
