My Irish Eslers
My ggmother was Jane Esler and she was born abt 1820 in Ireland, I would suspect in the Broughshane area. She married John Gordon on Nov 22, 1847 in Broughshane. One of their children was Jane, my gmother, who was born July 1850. Jane and her husband John Hall had several children two of whom honoured the Esler connection by having it as one of their christian names; including my father Benjamin Esler Hall.
Jane's father was William and she had an older brother called William as well. I understand that the family was very athletic.
If anyone can help me advance on my search in this line it would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Brian Hall
