Good Morning,
Could Richard Eskridge be a son of George? He was born between 1787 and 1806 based on the U. S. Census but served in the army in 1813. He was probably born in the early 1790's and enlisted in the army in 1813.
He named some of his sons Oakley, James, and George and moved first to Ohio and then to Indiana where he died in 1879. Thank you for any help or insight you might give me. Mel
