ESKILDSON in Dublin and Lancashire
Posted by: Helen Wagner (ID *****8839) Date: July 27, 2004 at 07:14:45

This message is in response to the post by Richard Hayhurst:
My 2xgreat-grandmother through my maternal grandfather was an ESKILDSON, and although I know virtually nothing about her, including her Christian name (I think she may have been a Mary though I'm not certain), I do know that she was the daughter of the Danish Consul to Dublin, and we are therefore cousins. I believe she was the mother of my great-grandfather John THOMAS, who was a sea-captain out of Liverpool. My grandfather, Richard Saville THOMAS, son of John and of Jane (Jennny) Cornwall ROWETT was her grandson. I have sent you a longer email to your personal address, and very much hope to hear from you and that we will be able to confirm our cousinship.
