Hello Lucille - we must be cousins. Grandfather Louis (!) Eskell had four children by his first wife and Richard was the eldest of the nine by his second wife (Cecile). She was french. Raymond was the fourth son. I have a family tree (researched by our cousin Louis - son of Eric (sixth son), in front of me, but no dates or history of Ray. Cousin Louis has written a book of the Eskell history (I have a copy at home, but have somehow not had time to check whether there is any information on Ray in it). Would be delighted to copy this family tree and send
it to you.

I'm nearly 56 and have one older sister, one younger and a younger brother. I live in the east of England in an area known as East Anglia.

I'll start checking this site more often now!
