My name is Werner. Your family name's origin is Switzerland and is writen Aeschlimann now. It is a very old name (arround 1350). The family picture shows a man who catches a fish. This sort of fish is called Aesche. The people who emigrated to the US could not write so they were registered under different names like:
Eshliman, Eschleman, Eschelman, Aeshliman, Aeschliman, Aeschlimann etc.

Could you send me a mail back to

Best wishes to a family member
