Greetings -
I am doing some research on the Escamilla line and notice a similar name in your line (Dionicio).
I am looking for the parents of Dionicia (Dionisia) Escamilla. She is my paternal-great-grandmother.I have located her in the 1880 Federal Census and she is listed as being 20 years old and married to Juan Martinez - age 31.She was his 2nd wife. They lived at Las Ovejas Ranche, Zapata, TX, per Roll 70_1334, Film 1255334, Pg 451.1000, Enumiration District 151.This would put her DOB at approximately 1860.It lists her mother/father as being born in Mexico, but does not list the exact location or their names.
Any additional information you can provide (if we have a connection), would be greatly appreciated.
Blessings to you and yours....
