I have come across this spelling, Esau, a number of times. In some of the old writings the "s" is actually an "f". Also the "u" could well be a "w".
I have been trying to find the correct (old spelling) spelling of my name "Efaw" I have it to the mid 1700's but looks like it could have been changed at that point. Do you have any possible information?
