***Updated Info on Mary(Schumacher)Erwine/Irwin...
She was born Feb.1844 in Baden,GMY. Also the mystery husband has been located with a new spelling variation on the surname. Her husband was Nicholas ERNWINE (b.1840-41 in France). They married abt. 1870. Nicholas & Mary had 2 daughters, Mary (b. abt.1870) and Lena(my ggrandmother,b.1875 in Erie Co,PA).
By 1880, the family was living in Scott, Linn Co, KS. By 1900, the wife, Mary & daughter, Lena were back in Fairview, Erie Co, PA. I don't know what happened to Nicholas (or where/why daughter--Mary died early). Mary indicated that she was still married in 1900 (& that only one of her 2 children was still living), but Nicholas was not living with her. By 1910, Mary was a widow.
NOTE: This Mary Erwine/Irwin/ERNWINE... was not the mother of Sarah Young.
