Mary ERWINE/IRWIN,... was born in Germany on April 20, 1842 (maiden name was SCHUMACHER).
It is believed that she had a daughter, Sarah YOUNG (in 1873) via Daniel YOUNG in Spartenburg, PA. She had another daughter, Lena ERWINE/IRWIN/IRVINE,... (in 1874) in Avonia, PA. (Lena is my ggrandmother. I haven't seen Lena's father's name on a record yet.)
Mary died on September 27, 1911 in Erie County, PA (suicide). She is buried next to her daughter, Lena CAUGHLIN (married name) at Fairview Cemetery (in Erie,PA). On Mary's death record, her name is spelled "Mary Irwin" and on her tombstone, it's spelled "Mary Erwine". I'd like to find out Lena's father's full name, as well as trace Mary's ancestry further back! Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Stacey
