I show Sarah Ervin to be born in Rowan County, NC; however, Lisa Beale Dickson shows her as SC. Her father was born in Cedar Swamp Section, Williamsburg CO, SC, and died in Pee Dee,SC, so Lisa may be right. I have a lot of question marks in collected information. Nobody posts birth certificates (which I am sure did not exist in the late 1700s) online to help define the problem.
