Bob, I have been a member of the Border Reavers Study and the Clan Irwin DNA study for many years. I have had excellent results in locating the probable source of our family in souther Scotland. Are you in the Clan Irwin study? If so, email me at rervin@comcast.net so we can compare notes. I have my family tree back to 1750 in the US, I think I have the two generations before that who came over in 1732 but have never been able to prove it. BTW, 12 markers are too general, 25 is iffy and 37 are about right.
