I am wondering if any Ulster Erskines have had a Y marker DNA test. My mother was an Erskine, but I have no contact with any male relations from the Erskine side. The story from my great grandfather, Herbert Reid Erskine, is that our Erskines descend from the Mar line in Scotland. I consider him to be a very reliable source.
As of this date I have found no test results for an Erskine.
