Hi: Have the information re: Alexander as published in the NEGHS journal in the 1920s. Went to Londonderry, IR genealogical office and they forwarded what they could find, which was pretty sketchy...possibly Glasgow area would be a better source. Understand that the more affluent and connected branches of the family were at one time close to the royal Stewart/Stuart family, which most of us probably would not care to admit. I'll stick with the Presbyterian farmers, who came to mid-Maine at the urging of David Dunbar. Did you ever find anything about the Butters family?
