Lois, My greatgrandfather was Thomas Caperton Erskine from Teays, W.V. I can't help but think there must be some relation as Caperton is not a very common name. I know his father was Henry Alexander.(b. 1838) Henry's siblings are John M., Charles T., and Ligorda. Henry's parents were Isaac Erskine (b. 1808 in VA) and Jane Becket (b. 1805). If you have info RE who Isaac's parents are please let me know. Thanks, JoAnn
