My GGGGgrandfather, Thomas Askey came in through the port of Philadephia ca. 1747, with his wife, Ellenor Stephenson and son Thomas. Most of my information starts with the son, who became Capt. Thomas Askey during the Revolution. I have no infor regarding how long they were in the Philadelphia area. The first hint I have was that they were from the Path Valley, PA. My father, Samuel Fleming Askey, is the one who told me his ancestors came in through the port of Philadelphia.
