Assuming you "opened" someone else's file with you FTM9 and didn't actually add or merge their info into your family file;

Hilite the unwanted file in windows explorer and hit the "delete" key. There will probably be two of them, one with FTW extension and one with FBK extension. Make sure you have a good working backup of your own family file beforehand. It helps to have some knowledge of computer files, file extensions and folders.
