Mary,

I followed your steps and did NOT have any issues with any Citation information. It worked as expected.

When you loose your Source and/or Citation information, is the Source listed in the Source Workspace?

When I followed your steps, the Source Title and Citation information were in the RH Panel, with the Fact. The first of the three numbers at the Right End of the Fact, had the #1 in it, as it should

I then when to the Source Workspace, and this new Source was listed with the New Citation.

Please remember that Sources and Citations are two different things.
