Anne, Not sure where to start. I am sorry that you are having issues, as they have not been my experience. Let's try to identify one issue at a time and deal with it and the rest may fall into place. Merging of files is not always easy, especially when you try to merge files and the relationships aren't right. Where is the most recent Family File that is accurate and includes images. Remembering that a GEDCOM file will NOT include them. Is the file in FTM2009 or in an Ancestry Member Tree? This would probably be before you did any merging? Your reason for merging wasn't clear to me. What did you merge. You mentioned FTM2009 and a GEDCOM from Ancestry, but if you had your file in FTM2009, why would you want to merge what was on your AMT. Do you have a Back Up, that YOU created, from BEFORE you did the Merging of files? What do you want to Merge INTO that file? Is there a lot of information on this "other" file that isn't in the last good file that you have? Russ Notify Administrator about this message?
