Hi,
I have FTM 2009.
The error message is "FTM.exe - Fatal error
CLR error: 80004005. The program will now terminate. OK"
Everything was working perfectly well. My antivirus was not updating so I deleted it and reinstalled the program CA Internet Security Suite. I have been using this program for the last 10 years so it is trusted etc (the parent company of VET). I authorised FTM to be able to use the internet (I pay for ancestory and use it via FTM).
Since then I got this message. However, after saying that, FTM was working for a few days after reinstalling CA.
I will format my computer again if needed, but obviously I don't want to go that far.
Any help would be appreciated. I am using Windows 7.
Regards,
Jenni
