Russ,Thanx for getting back to me.You have helped me in the past, so I'm feeling more comfortable that you'll be able to help me again, with this current problem.
I was using the system for maybe an hour and was researching in the Ancestry.com records when the program shut down and I got a message that the program had been incorrectly shut down. I was not in the shut down mode at all.
I contacted Ancestry Tech help, told them of my problem, They felt that a "clean boot" should correct the problem. They suggested that I Un-install the program and follow the "clean boot" instructions that they emailed to me.
Not being a computer person I am somewhat reluctant to just jump in and follow the downloaded instructions,

Your suggestions appear to be a lot less intimidating !!
