The only tab up top says "New Tree."
There are two radio buttons in the Getting Started window: "Enter what you know" and "Import a tree from an existing file."
Neither option ends up loading my tree. Under the import screen, I cannot load the tree because .ftm extension is not one of the options. I am able to start a new tree but cannot merge in the old one and get an error message which I have included in one of my posts.
I tried clicking on the FTM file when the program was closed. What happens is the program loads, but brings me to the Getting Started page instead of opening the tree.
I guess there must be something about Windows Vista that is interfering with the program, so perhaps there is some setting I need to enable or patch to apply.
