Sorry I started a new "threadd" I didn't realize I was doing that. I am new to this.
First, when I try to do a "compression" on my file, it runs for a while then stops with a message that I cannot remember exactly but it is saying that there are problems with this "file" and that I need to go to a good backup (which I do not have).
That is when I "reopen" this same file and do the ctl, alt, shift, up arrow.
This finds the "total errors 68" and will not let me do anything until I get rid of this window. That is what I call "lock up" which is not really true because if I cancel it thenI can continue working with the file.
Here are the first two lines in the window:
1 20026 NULL marriage fact line (3092)
2 10563 Ind 7621 has referencing an AUX (135902)of a different type
Line 86 reads:
86 41030 FILEID F000000000BA3FIN (a stream) has no reference from any ATCH
Where do I find these commands such as ctr, alt, shift up arrow?
Thanks, Jim
