Hello Roger,
I'm amazed by the fantastic service you are supplying to people researching the name Errington. You probably already know all the Errington info I have, and maybe you can fill in some blanks - perhaps we are related?

John Anderson Aird married Elizabeth Errington on 26 May 1860. She was born in 1837, probably in Earden, Northumberland. She died on 12 September 1922. She had seven daughters and four sons. My husband, Dave is Elizabeth and John's great great grandson.

Elizabeth's parents were Anthony Fenwick Errington, b 1804, Haworth, Co Durham and Jane Murray. They married on 27 August 1825 in South Shields, Co. Durham. They had 9 children.

Father of Anthony Fenwick was Anthony Errington, b 20 September 1778 in Felling, Co Durham. He died on 30 Jan 1848. He married Ann Hindmarsh on 28 May 1798 (She was born on 15 May 1768). They had at least 4 children.

His father was Robert Errington, born 4 April, 1732 in Netherwitton, Northumberland. He married Isabella Carr. They had 9 children. Robert died on 1 April 1818.

And that's as far as I've got. Probably a lot of this information came from you in the first place, as I have got this mainly from Familysearch, and haven't yet been able to confirm it with original source material.

My email address is if you want to correspond directly
