Please Help! My mother Martha Jean Ernst Werner passed away 18 months ago and she never really knew much about her family and I know it was always hard on her because she lost both of her parents by the age of 10. I have never been able to find out any information about her family. We don't go back far because unfortunately by the time her and her twin sister Mary Jane were born almost everyone was gone. I am looking for any information on Charles Godfrey Ernst born in 1859? He died May 5, 1900. He married Annie Barbara Hartman who was born November 26, 1864 in Berlin, Germany. She died August 6, 1930. They had five children, Albert Rudolph Christian Ernst, Leona Arma Ernst born 7/17/1896, Ruth Ernst, Harold Charles Ernst, born 7/11/1892 and Burrell R. Ernst, born 11/29/1893. Albert was my grandfather who I never met. He married Hazel Ireland Lowery on 2/17/1917 in Moosejaw, Saskatchewan, Canada. He died in 1940. She was born 9/3/1895 in Larim, Michigan and died 12/7/1942 in Duluth, Minnesota where my mother and her twin sister grew up. They then lived with their Uncle Harold Ernst. If anyone has anything about this family, please contact me. My sisters and I would be very appreciative even though it is too late to help her, we can give this information to her sister and maybe find some new family. Thanks in advance.
