Your George Washington and mine may be one and the same! From Earnest family Bible: George W. Earnest b. Oct 8, 1852 to Simon Earnest b. Nov 13, 1816 and Melinda Harrington b. May 12, 1813. Nicholas Co Ky is about 30 miles from Bracken Co Ky, and I do have other connections there. The dates from our Bible could be a little off because it appears that the information written had been done at one sitting and possibly from memory-all children's birthdates were spaced 2 years apart. Do you have additional info? I have more and am willing to share!
