Does anyone know where the Ernest's of Nova Scotia mainly settled?

I am trying to find the location of where the majority of the Ernest's may have located in Nova Scotia? My husband's grandmother was apparently an Ernest that married a Schofield in Nova Scotia, but I'm not sure where this union happened. If anyone has any idea where the Ernest's mainly settled, this may help in my search! Thank you for any help!
