Actually, my research is focused towards descendants of a Heinrich Reeb, who was born 1602 and his descendants for many generations lived in Keskastel, Nassau-Saarwerden. This area is located in western part of present Bas-Rhin dept. of France. An Erlenbach family moved to this region from Welterod, Germany and one of them, Philipp Peter Erlenbach married a Reeb female in Keskastel. Some of their descendants did move to United States. Carl Erlenbach was one and he did have a son named Louis Erlenbach. If you will give more details on your Louis Erlenbach family I can then tell you if I can see a match to Erlenbachs in my data. John V. Reeb
