Good Morning: I just recently commenced on my fathers mother side. Her madien name was Erisman, The records I have are very accurate. My GGG settled in Mernar County IL from PA around 1850 and raised a family ther. Christopher H. and his wife Irene Elmore from Tenn. He served in Union Army and returned after the war as a farmer. His son my GG Richard Yates and his wife Julia A. Davis married in Mexico cty MO in 1878 and lived in several ctys in IL until they moved the family to Fort Worth TV 1887. My Grandmother was born in Greene ctyIL 1883. She had 3 brothers Richard, Fred and John. In my research there were not to many Erismans in IL during these years so there could be a possiable relationship. Regards, Gordon
