You contacted me awhile back and mentioned you thought my Christopher Erb 1799 may have been your missing Christopher Erb 1798 son of Peter Erb. well I has a letter I found in my mothers things that had some of her mothers things and in it was an address of Esther May Erb ( Noonan) Uncle Henry and Uncle John in Baltimore, Md. I wrote the addresses and one was returned, the other still out there, but then I had another name a Violet Erb Kammerer with an address and I have been doing research on that name and through it I have found Henry A Erb and wife Mary Tischerb 5 Jun 1863 Married 29 Mar 1894 Baltimore, Md, parents of Violet . On the Family Search IGI I found Henry A Erb parents listed as Christopher Erb and Catherine Jacobs, well I believe this to be his grandparents from Pennsylvania rather than his parents as Henry is one of the children orphaned of John and Christina Erb. He also had a brother John in Baltimore That was in Esthers dad obituary in 1934 as living in Baltimore. I have not found where Henry died yet but his death date 12 Jul 1927. Born 10 Jan 1857 Pennsylvania.On the 1920 Census they live in Baltimore City.Henry and Mary had two other children Agnes M Age 12 on 1910 census and Howard H age 15.Howard H was born on 29 Jan 1895 and died 03 Feb 1948 bur 09 Feb 1948 plot

Anyway this is the information I have gathered of late on this family and I am leaning to agree with you that these families have a connection and I also see us eventually connecting into Nickolos Erb line as I found Christopher and Jacobs in his database ( unlinked at this point)But these two siblings traveled to Maryland for a reason. Most of the children went to family after the death of their parents, so I would gusee Henry and John did likewise.
