Dear Michael, Here is an e-mail that I got.

"Hi Jim...this is Emma's daughter, Joni. Here's info I have for you. Merit Eppright's parents were Rudolph & Francis. Merit was born in 1815. He married Mary Vantine (born 1821...her parents were Joseph & Mary) Merit & Mary married on 7/10/1837. They had 9 children. Samuel was born on 8/30/1838. Maria Rose was born on 10/8/1849. Mary Francis was born on 3/20/1841. Georgeanna was born on 4/22/1847. She was my Great-Great Grandmother. (My Grandmother lived with her when she was a child, & it is from Georgeanna's bible that I've gotten this info.) Joseph A. was born on 9/6/1844, but died in 1850. Another Joseph was born on 3/27/1852 William was born on 9/12/1854, Emma Virginia was born on 11/23/1856, and Sarah Elizabeth was born on 12/5/1858. I hope this helps Jim. Where are you from? As far back as Merit & Mary, our family has lived in Philadelphia, in fact, Merit & Mary lived at 309 Worth St in Philly. Georgeanna & her husband, Matthew Gibson lived at 922 Passyuank (not sure of spelling) Ave in Philly."

By the way, are you related to Ida and Carl Smart? Your posting to the Eppright's of Philadelphia would make sense if so.
