Hi Katerine: My apology for not checking in on genforum sooner. I have some info re the Epp family in PA. In fact, I have so much that I am not certain that I can give you the correct answer. For starters, we have an Adam Epp, born 1855 and Frank Epp, born 1856, to Francis and Mary Epp. Births were at Allentown. The family worshiped at Sacred Heart Church in Allentown. In a quick search through our records, I do not find a Gertrude, but I will try again. Question: was your Frank Rutz by any chance a railroader? A number of these Epp men were employed by the railroad. Please let me know if you have gained any insight into the family since you posted your note. Bob, in VA PS: this is not our direct Epp line!
