If you search through Google and ask for
Ralph C. Geer "Recollections of My Emigration on the
Oregon Trail" you will find a very interesting tale of his
travels to Oregon in 1847, a migration which included
John Leonard Eoff & George Eoff and their families.
If you scroll down to the bottom you will see that chapter
3 included some detailed information on John Leonard Eoff
his ancestry, marriage and the various moves he made in
his life time, written by his grandson, T. T. Geer.
