I don't know if this will be helpful to anyone or not but
I found Myrtle Strange on the 1930 census with Robert
Strange, her husband, & her children by James Levi Eoff &
one by Robert Strange. She & Robert Strange are indexed
as they should be, Robert & Myrtle Strange, but the Eoff
children are indexed under the surname ATH. The family was
as follows: 1930 Census Yell Co Arkansas--Galla Rock Twp.
#86-90
Strange, Robert age 43 mar. age 40 b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar
farmer--farm labor
Strange, Myrtle age 38 mar age (either 24 or 14 not sure)
b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar
Pharis, Frank step-son 20 b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar
Ath (or possibly Eth)
Hubert 18 b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar stepson
Johnie 15 b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar stepson
Theo 11 b. Ar fa b. Ar mo b. Ar stepson
Hazel 9 b. Ar fa b. AR mo b. Ar stepdaughter
Strange (unreadable to me but indexed as) Cara age 1 b. Ar

All four stepsons are listed as farm laborers
James Levi Eoff & Myrtle (Conner) Eoff were divorced &
Myrtle had custody of the children. Myrtle (Conner) Eoff
m. W. R. Strange of Nimrod, Perry Co Arkansas May 14, 1927
Perry Co Arkansas. She was listed as of Perryville, Perry
Co. Arkansas
Also, does anyone know if the Frank Pharis on this census
was Wm. Farrell Eoff?
