Hi,
I'm trying to find information on Kate E. Mefford, married first to McCager Duggins and secondly to James Silvey. Kate was the daughter of Caleb W. Mefford and his second wife, Cinderella Jane Petty. Both of her parents are buried in Ozark County, Missouri. She and James are buried in Ashburn, Missouri.
I'm hoping to find something about her children. Nellie was living with her when she married James Silvey. Kate died November 4, 1916. Nellie continued to care for her step-father after the death of her mother.
James was the half-brother of my great grandfather, Samuel Louis Silvey. We have been trying to locate the children of his father's second marriage.
